Dear GSID students,

Please follow the guidance below regarding the implementation of the “Yearly Information Security Check for Academic Year 2024”.

All GSID students  “MC/DC students and Research Students” that Nagoya University ID is published for have to finish this Security Check.

Students (undergraduate, graduate and research students etc.) who enrolled in AY2024 must take both “the Yearly Information Security Check for Academic Year 2024” and  “Information Security Training for New Students for Academic Year2024” you have completed at the time of your enrollment.

1. Please complete by Friday, May 10th.
( If you do not take the course by July 2, you will be directed to the Yearly Information
Security Check website each time you use your Nagoya University ID.)

2.All people that Nagoya University ID is published for.

3. How to take the Self-Inspection:

(1) Access the Yearly Information Security Check (https://cert.nagoya-u.ac.jp/portal)

(2) Sign in using “Multi-Factor Authentication CAS”.
(3) You may take the Yearly Information Security Check for Academic Year 2024 in either
English or Japanese.

The Japanese version is titled “2024 年度年次情報セキュリティチェック”.
(4) Start the Yearly Information Security Check for Academic Year 2024.
