For Master’s Students, Application Procedure of Credits for Independent Fieldwork
1.Please read “Application Procedure of Credits for Independent Fieldwork” carefully and prepare the application documents.

2.The statement of plan must be submitted prior to participation in the internship.
In the case of traveling abroad, fill in the “Overseas Travel Database” and submit the “Overseas Travel Notification” to GSID Office through your academic advisor.
For details, please refer to Overseas Travel (including temporary return) section of the Administrative Procedure Forms.
3.All other documents must be submitted within three months after the internship.
However, since the credit approval process takes time, M2 students are required to submit all documents by the following deadlines.
For students who plan to complete at the end of September: by the end of July
For students who plan to complete by the end of March: by the end of January
4.When submitting documents, please ask your academic advisor to review and approve the contents in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers for Credit Application
・Will I receive credits for the training or internship I plan to participate in?
After the participation, based on the documents submitted by the student, the Educational and Student Affairs Committee will confirm the details of the training or internship and deliberate on the accreditation of credits.
Therefore, it is not possible to confirm in advance if credits can be approved or not.
・Regarding Independent Overseas Fieldwork A・B / Independent Domestic Fieldwork A・B for MC students or International Internship A・B for DC students, can I apply for credits by participating in an internship or training program offered online?
Yes, this is subject to review by the Educational and Student Affairs Committee for credit approval.
・Can I apply for both Independent Overseas Fieldwork B and Independent Domestic Fieldwork B for the one internship?
No, you may not apply for credit for both Independent Overseas Fieldwork B and Independent Domestic Fieldwork B for the same one activity, as they have different requirements and no double credit can be given for one activity.
If you participate in two different internships and fulfill the requirements for each, you may apply for both Independent Overseas Fieldwork B and Independent Domestic Fieldwork B.
