Dear graduate students,
Doctoral Education Consortium (DEC) is providing the Graduate School Common Course “Professional Literacy (in Japanese and in English)” to all graduate students.
To take advantage of your expertise and play an active role in academia, industry, and other spheres, you need deep academic knowledge and outstanding capabilities in your area of specialization.
You will also need more general skills (“PhD skills”) such as communication skills and the ability to understand different fields.
In Professional Literacy, you will study about the importance and the basics of PhD skills that you need to cultivate at Nagoya University’s graduate schools.

・If you would like your credit to be approved for the Fall semester of 2024, please take the course during the period of July 16, 2024 – January 15, 2024.
