Information for this event are following.
●Speaker:Sena Matsui(Graduate School of Science)
●Title: “How to make the Milky Way” explored with Galactic Archaeology
●Detail:
There are countless “galaxies” in the universe. The number of galaxies is thought to be about 2 trillion. The Milky Way Galaxy contains 200 billion stars, only one of which is the sun. How was the Milky Way Galaxy formed and how did it evolve? I would like to introduce my study.
●Speaker:Frank Opoku Agyemang(Graduate School of Bioagricultural Science)
●Title: Elucidating the influence of fluctuating environmental factors on the transcriptional dynamics and physiological traits including yield in oilseed rape (Brassica napus)
●Detail:
Environmental factors and agronomic practices impact growth and yield of crops such as Oilseed rape. Molecular and physiological responses to these factors influence their physiology and yield potential. Research on transcriptional dynamics, climatic data, and statistical models can identify crucial genes and regulatory pathways in oilseed rape’s response to changing environments. This understanding is vital for developing climate-resilient crop varieties and optimizing production systems.
