To Students

Nagoya University Alumni Association purchases Nogoya University’s original academic gowns for the graduation ceremony in bulk.
If you would like to wear an academic gown* for your graduation ceremony, please consider purchasing one.
(*Wearing the gown at the actual ceremony is optional.)
The opportunity to purchase the gown is once a year (usually only at this time of the year).
In addition to those who plan to complete their studies in March 2026, those who plan to complete their studies in September 2026 and wish to purchase the gown are also encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.

The gowns are manufactured in Bangkok through our alumni stationed in Bangkok.
One gown (with square cap: size L only, with adjuster) costs about 37,000～45,000 yen **.
（** Price may change due to import taxes.)
Payment is cash only. Applicants must pay at the designated department between late February and early March and pick up the gowns.

If you wish to purchase the gown, please fill out the following application form and send it to bun-shien@t.mail.nagoya-u.ac.jp by e-mail
by November 7 (Fri). Please read the following “Notes” carefully before submitting your application.
