AY2026 Application for Small Study Rooms for DC Students
Dear Doctoral Students,
This is GSID Office.
We are writing to inform you that we will accept applications from Doctoral students who wish to use study rooms for 2026 academic year.

[Deadline]
The registration deadline is on March 11 (Wed), 2026 by 5p.m. (Japan Time).
[Note]
* Applications are accepted only once a year in March. Permitted Period of Use is from April 2026 to March 2027.
*Students who take leave of absence from April 2026 are not eligible to apply.
*Applications will not be accepted after the deadline.
*The room allocation will be announced on April 1(Wednesday).
*Room number will be assigned by GSID Office and change room request will not be accepted.
*The number of desks is limited. Not everyone will be assigned. (If the maximum number of people is exceeded, there will be a random drawing.)
* Those who are currently using small rooms should bring all their personal belongings back home by Tuesday, March 17, regardless of whether they are going to use the rooms from April. We will check each room sometime after that day. If you are a room coordinator, please make sure that your room is clean and check if all luggage is being carried out by Tuesday, March 17.
*We will conduct the application for small study room on March 2027 and request all DC students who are using a small study room to clean and take away all their personal belongings at that time for reallocation.
*During the period from March 18 to March 31, the rooms cannot be used. From beginning of March, you can temporarily place your personal belongings in Seminar room 5. However, please do not leave valuables behind and take them home with you.
