【Award】 A GSID alum, Dr. Norbert PALANOVICS, receives the 2023 Nagoya University Award for Contributions to International Exchange

[Award] Dr. Norbert PALANOVICS (Head of Corporate Communications, TDK Corporation and Former Ambassador of Hungary to Japan (2016-2023), 2008 Ph.D.) receives the 2023 Nagoya University Award for Contributions to International Exchange. The award recognizes the achievements of Nagoya University’s outstanding graduates in research, cultural exchange and social contributions every year. The award ceremony is held on October 21, 2023. Congratulations!

Dr. Norbert PALANOVICS is the seventh GSID alum to receive this award, followed by a 2013 awardee Dr. Nandang Rahmat (Dean, Graduate School of Letters, Universitas Padjadjaran, 2000 Ph.D.), a 2014 awardee Dr. Mammoun SAMRETH (Senior Legal Advisor, HBS Law/ Nagoya University Alumni Association’s Cambodia Chapter President, 2010 ABD), a 2016 awardee Dr. Rizal Affandi LUKMAN (Deputy Minister for International Economic and Financial Cooperation, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Indonesia/ Nagoya University Alumni Association’s Indonesia Chapter President, 2000 Ph.D.), a 2019 awardee Dr. Mbuli Charles BOLIKO (FAO Representative in Madagascar, Comoros, Mauritius and Seychelles, 1996 Ph.D.), a 2021 awardee Dr. Tolkunbek ABDYGULOV (Chairman/Governor, National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2005 MA), and a 2022 awardee Dr. CHET Chealy (Rector, Royal University of Phnom Penh, 2002 Ph.D.).
